Hi all and welcome to the Nothe Fort Garrison Volunteers page,although we can be found on the www,(on the Nothe Fort website) this is the first outing specifically about our group.We hope you will come and visit us regularly online and share our experience's,and hopefully come and visit us in person at the Nothe Fort,or one of the outside events that we ta
ke part in.Why not get involved,we are always looking for willing volunteers able to give up some free time to train and be a part of our gun crews and fire a real 19th century cannon,or if you are musically minded train to be part of our artillery band.You don't have to be part of the group to share the experience,we are also available to hire for that special occasion where as well as putting on a display,you get the opportunity to be involved in the unique experience of firing a real cannon,as some newlyweds had the chance to do yesterday,its always a smile bringer :-) .Hope to hear from you soon in one way or another
