Wyke Regis Women's Institute

We are a member of The WI enabling women to build new skills and enjoy various activities. We have been part of Wyke Regis since 1923.

The first meeting of Wyke Regis WI was held on 23 October 1923 in the Assembly Rooms of the Wyke Hotel. The Institute flourished and in 1933 an offer of £750 was made for the Primitive Methodist Chapel in Gallwey Road. On 24 March 1934 the Hall was opened. We hold meetings, with interesting speakers, on the second Thursday in the month at 7 pm from April to September and at 2pm from October to Mar

ch. One benefit of owning our hall is that we can host a variety of activities for our members to exercise body and mind. If you are interested in joining us, you can come to two of our monthly meetings as a visitor before deciding if it’s for you. We have many different interest groups which you can join, most of which meet in the mornings or afternoons; you can find the full list on our website. We are a member of the Dorset Federation of Women’s Institutes (DFWI) and, of course, a member of The National Federation of Women’s Institutes (NFWI).

It's that time again! Our Singers have been busy rehearsing, so do come along and enjoy their next concerts.

😱What a great night! The singers put on a brilliant show tonight. They will be doing it all again tomorrow night! So sorry for the photo dump.... but not really. 😂 thanks Hilary et al for all your hard work so that we can be entertained.
