🚑✨ Confidence Starts Young – First Aid Classes for Kids! ✨🚑

We’re so excited to be running our Mini First Aid classes at Westoning Village Hall on 8th April – and these sessions are specially designed just for children!

👶 Early Years Class (Ages 3–6)
Fun, interactive and hands-on learning to help little ones understand how to get help in an emergency, basic first aid, and build confidence.

🧒 Kids Class (Ages 7–11)
Empowering older children with essential life-saving skills – from what to do in an emergency to CPR basics and more.

💡 These classes are engaging, age-appropriate and could give your child the skills to help save a life one day.

Westoning Village Hall's first film of 2026 takes us back in time to 1942 to watch a remastered black and white film classic: “Casablanca” on
Friday, 2nd January 2026
at 7.30 pm.

A cynical expatriate American cafe owner struggles to decide whether or not to help his former lover and her fugitive husband escape the N***s in French Morocco.
Starring some Hollywood greats: Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Heinreid.
As usual tickets are: £5 (cash only at the door) – includes a small snack. 🍷 Licensed Bar & Additional Snacks available. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

50th Anniversary of the Westoning Tanker Disaster

Next year marks 50 years since the Westoning Tanker Disaster of 1976, and the Village Hall will be holding a special event to mark this anniversary - including the amazing emergency service teams who helped that day.
We’re looking to hear from anyone who remembers the event, was there, has family stories, or photos and memorabilia to share.
