Drove out to Charlton Farm this morning with the funds that we raised, just had the phone call raised an amazing £622.26.
Thank you all so much for helping me and Mike, that will really help this amazing charity.
I also took 3 bags of handmade dolls and teddies as personal gifts for the children.

So all thats left is to thank you all again and wish you all a peaceful Christmas and a very happy new year.

Sending out a huge thank you to all the traders today, the Santa's on Bikes, The BMW Guys, Domestic Bliss and everyone who contributed.
A special shout out to my Elf and Safety Officer Laurie for keeping us all safe.
We dont have the final total yet, but we estimate we have raised in the region £600.
Final total will be revealed when the charity let us know what's in the collection tins.
I will post on here as soon as I know.
Once again thank you, couldn't have done it without you guys.

Well tomorrow is the day, cant believe its here finally.

All the tables are set out ready for you traders, so start arriving from 9am, The Grinch and The Elf and Safety Officer will be there directing you where to unload and then park.
There are directon signs around the village, to guide you in,

There are two stalls where every penny goes to the charity.
The Raffle Table, wow just bloomin wow, people's generosity really surprises me.
We have in prizes
A meal for two us a bottle of House Wine at The Coach House, Locking.
Sunday Lunch for Two at The Bay, in Sandbay.
Coffee and Cake for Two at the award winning Parkside Cafe.
A £50 Voucher for Holistic Massage or Treatments.
Chocolates, Wines, Biscuits, A Soup Maker, Bird Feeder, Baileys,
Traders dont forget your donation too.
So dont forget to get your tickets.

Then we have the Bad Elf selling Balloons.

Every penny collected goes to the charity.

Then just to put the cherry on top of the cake we have recieved a £100 donation, from someone who cant make it.

I need everyone on this page to help please.
We have no sweet sellers, after being let down, and messed about.
So please if anyone knows anyone who does sweets, fudge chocolate please try to get them on board.
This will be the first Christmas Market without sweets,
I was thinking about trying to do it on top of my stall, but today alone ive had a consultant appointment, emergency gp appointment and then emergency bloods done this afternoon.

I really could do with some help, this market isnt just for the charity its for you all too.
Please make some phone calls, ive spoke to everyone I know.

Want to see something special, from 11.30 there will be a group of Santa's on bikes es**rting two BMW Z4s, travelling from Locking Village down to Santa's hideaway on the Bournville Estate to pick up Santa and his Mrs, and bring them back to St Augustines Church Hall, where they will be chatting to the children and taking any last minute letters back to Lapland.

If you see the convoy, give them a toot or a wave, these guys are giving up their time to raise funds for Charlton Farm Children's Hospice.

Why not follow them and come to our makers Market, where you will find entertainment, face painting, a pop up cafe, Santa's galore, a few elves and the Grinch, and loads of stalls offering beautiful handmade gifts and goodies.

Finally got round to do some shopping today, thought id try my luck in Morrisons and ask if they could possibly donate a raffle prize.
And this is what they gave, I was so overwhelmed, so generous.
We also have a voucher for a meal for two comming from The Bay restaurant in Sandbay.
So many great prizes in the raffle.

Please dont forget to bring your raffle donations on the day of the Market, the Grinch will be collecting from each table.

Up to today, between me and mike doing our own work, we have put up 3 Banners, distributed and pinned up 25 A4 posters, and 80 A5 fliers, created a dedicated fb page and shared posts and advertised on at least 12 social media sites.l, collect raffles prizes, put out collection pots.

I have 4 people out of all the traders who have shared posts (thats all ive seen).

What have you done to promote the Market?
Its for us all and shouldn't be down to a handful of people to promote and share.

Im loosing the will to live with this, it started out to bring a smile to at least one child's face, to raise some money to support the family of a dying child.

We are all busy, I am too but have the additional health issues, hospital appointments, emergency a&e visits, 3 in one week 2 weeks ago, but ive never given up,
I want you all to do well, I really do but unless you post and invite its going to be the same as most other markets where you leave feeling disappointed.
I have people coming from Plymouth to support us, just to pick up Santa, Bikers who are going to brave the weather to es**rt them, they are not making a penny just donating their time and costs.
I have entertainers again doing this for free,
Mike has helped so much,
Im going to be totally honest I am so disappointed in the lack of involvement from the traders.
Believe it or not some are yet to join the page.

Please can at least all of us on this page push this event, post and share, invite all your friends and customers.
