We need to find the words to express our wonder that THIS WEDNESDAY is the 18th Speakeasy online poetry evening! How's this?:

"Listen to poetry from wherever you like
Sit back, enjoy, or take to the Open Mic
It's always a friendly evening on the poetry scene
That's probably why Speakeasy has reached number 18"

On Weds, 7 June, 7:30pm, we welcome Rosie Jackson, who reads from her HOT OFF THE PRESS collective, 'Love Leans over the Table'

There are spaces on the open mic too so if you'd like to read your own poetry, contact [email protected]

Hosted by The Write Box

More and more kids are suffering from poor mental health. Pudsey’s taken off his bandana to show that mental health issues can often be hard to see and to encourage conversations that can help

The last few years have seen an unprecedented rise in children with mental health problems.

That's why Pudsey's temporarily removed his iconic bandana, to show that mental health issues are often less visible and to encourage conversations that can help.

Our 'Behind the Bandana' campaign encourages conversations that can help keep a child's mental health on track.

🌟 Today we’d like to celebrate Theatre Orchard Youth Seniors after their incredible performance of ‘Laugh When You Think of Me’ in the Berkoff Studio at Weston College, as part of .

The group wowed us with their hard work, passion and talent, giving a heartfelt and joyous performance that encapsulated how we handle grief and what friendship really means. There were tears, there was laughter and there was so much love in the room.

Working with Director, Angela Athay-Hunt, and Musical Director, Jordan Cottle, the local, young people devised the whole play in just one term, creating a 40 minute show that involved a cast of 25!! It wasn’t an easy subject - about a 15 year old coming to terms with a terminal illness, yet they displayed maturity, thoughtfulness, creativity and bravery throughout and we salute them.

A huge well done to each and every person involved and we look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow 🌟

THANK YOU to Mark Gray for these stunning photos that capture the performance so beautifully!
