Our Guest Wall exhibition this month is a photomontage put together by local resident and photographer Sarah Wyld.

It’s also a Westgate Skatepark fund-raiser, featuring photos of skateboarding over the past fifty years all of which you can buy this month at bargain prices. Sarah is donating all proceeds from the exhibition to help phase two of the development on Lymington Road, and we have waived the hire fee as it’s a local project we are very happy to be supporting too; it’s important young people have interesting and stimulating things to do locally out of school hours.

Why not pop in and show your support? You can also pick up information about the skatepark community build and how to help itv practically as well as financially.

Open 10am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays. Children and doggies welcome too!

PANCAKE RACES - SAVE THE DATE!

The traditional Westgate-on-Sea Pancake Races are returning to Station Road on Shrove Tuesday, 17th February!

Taking place in half term this year, it’s a great opportunity for children, families, traders, organisations and the entire community to come together and have fun.

You can simply cheer others along or join in the races yourself. New this year is the walking race, so you can take part if you are unable to run.

Pancakes and pans will be provided.
