A massive thank-you to Girlguiding Leatherhead division for the brilliant work they completed on site during their recent division camp. It's all looking fabulous with a lot of fund had and new skills learned along the way

Almost 40 Guides from across Bookham, Effingham, Fetcham and Ashtead (plus their leaders!) enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the Division Camp in April.

*HELP NEEDED PLEASE*

We need help from able-bodied folks that don't mind carrying things up stairs!

We have been donated 16 office cabinets that will be arriving at Faurefold on Monday 16th March and we need help from 3pm to get them up to the loft.

The more helpers we can get the less lifting each of us will need to do and without help it won't be possible at all. With your help this need only take an hour or so.

We have had a couple of very successful working party days to kick of 2026 and have finished defining the new paths through the woodland. We are really looking forward to seeing this area of the site blossom and grow, as the trees and understorey regenerate around them. The bluebells and ferns are already poking up their leaves.

💷 Faurefold Price Update

We have recently conducted a review of our prices and concluded that it is now the right time to review and update our pricing structure, which has not changed since 2017

From 1st April 2026, the cost of staying on the campsite will be
• Duke of Edinburgh groups: £7.50 per person per night
• Girlguiding and Scouting groups: £6.00 per person per night

From 1st September 2026, the cost of the holiday house will be
• £12.50 per person per night

Please check our website for full details including the associated changes to deposits, daytime bookings etc. Groups that have already made a booking after the dates these changes come into effect above will be notified of the price increases by the booking secretary.

We are confident that Faurefold continues to represent excellent value compared with other local sites and are committed to delivering high quality, accessible opportunities for all

🌿 25/1/2026 Working Party Day – Join Us!

Following on from our successful woodland project, we’re holding a Working Party Day:

📅 Sunday 25th January
⏰ 9:00am – 3:00pm

The day will be outside so wear suitable clothing and footwear and bring gardening gloves/tools if possible.

You'll need a packed lunch but we'll provide the tea/coffee and biscuits.
