🎉 Summer Fun & BBQ Day – Saturday 12th July 🎉
As we gear up for our Summer Fun & BBQ Day, we’re starting to collect raffle prizes 🎟️
If you or your business can offer anything at all, it would make a huge difference — every contribution helps!
We’re looking for things like:
Gift vouchers for services
Hampers or donations
Bottles of wine or alcohol
Any products or services you’re happy to offer
Even something small, like a bottle or a donation of your time or service, is hugely appreciated 👍

Last night 22/4/2026 at 21:09

One of the children’s football goals was unbolted and stolen from the Village hall playing field, it was removed and taken away on a flatbed van, we have CCTV of this, but have no registration of the vehicle to pass to the Police, if any local residential properties have CCTV of this would you be able to share it to us so we can hopefully have it returned?

These goals were purchased by the Hall by hard work for use of the Village community and children

The Village Hall AGM is your chance to hear what’s been happening over the last year, understand how the hall is run, and help shape its future.
We’ll be covering:
A review of the past year
Plans and priorities for the hall
A financial overview
Opportunities for villagers to get involved
The Village Hall is entirely run by volunteers, and like many community spaces, it can only continue to thrive if people from the village are willing to step forward and help. We are currently looking for a Secretary, as well as volunteers to support the hall and help with events. You don’t need special experience — just an interest in the village and a willingness to lend a hand or share ideas.
If you use the hall, care about having a community space in Chapmanslade, or would like to help shape what happens there in the future, we’d really encourage you to come along — even if it’s just to listen and find out more.
