Today’s the day!

Come down to Farnley Village Green (next to the terminus) between 11am and 2pm.

Everything is free except a fun raffle in aid of LEEDS BABY BANK.

We have also been gifted some genuine LUFC kits for under 5s which we are giving away!
These cannot be bought or raffled - just gifted.

Visual representation of yesterday! We opened up for the community at 11am but very unfortunately the key holder needed to leave.

We’re community led, it’s early days and in true Farnley style, we heard it on Facebook first!

I’m genuinely so sorry if anyone missed out or had a wasted trip.

We are back today 5pm to 8pm - guaranteed!

Pop along and see what the Playbox is about.

Please note this is an open-access community activity.

Children and young people remain the responsibility of their parent, carer or responsible adult at all times. Playworkers, community representatives and volunteers facilitate activities but we don’t provide childcare or supervision.

We had a fantastic first session at the Playbox today.

Thank you to the children, young people and parents who came along. Everyone had lots of fun - especially the grown ups!

Thank you to the neighbour who told us it had “made your day” to see the kids playing. It sure was lovely hearing the singing and laughter.

We’re back open tomorrow 11am to 2pm!

We’re still flying high after our dog show yesterday.

We had 39 dogs and their hoomans compete, along with a lovely crowd of people enjoying the afternoon. So much fun!

We got plenty of feedback for the future of the park and more importantly the path. More on that soon!

Wow! We had an amazing afternoon at the inaugural Farnley Pride in Place Dog Show.

We’ll be sharing photos later but for now, it’s a huge thank you to everyone for attending and a bigger thank you to our wonderful board and volunteers for making this happen. ❤️

We’re all set for tomorrow.

Thankfully the weather will be kinder on our furbabies than it would have been today.

We’ve got the Doggy Academy on hand, with Monstarwear clothing, a tombola raising funds for Akita Dog Rescue and Pawtners in Crime for treats.

Registration starts at 12pm and the show will start from approx 12.45pm with the lovely Diana at Diana. Indriksone Photography

We’ll also be hearing your thoughts on a new path and any other suggestions for improvements.

Please walk if you can, however if you do need to drive please park at the main car park - this avoids congestion at the cricket club ends

Overflow parking will be available at the Nest, Farnley Falcons on Butt Lane which is just a short walk away.

Remember to keep your dogs on leads to avoid any issues. See you tomorrow!
