UPDATE: Beth’s Boys 🥰

These cuties are now 6 weeks old & are doing so well as is their mummy Beth.

Beth came into us after being found dumped & had given birth to 3 kittens, one which sadly died (our beautiful Summer 🪽)

Her boys though have been thriving & are growing up into such handsome men 😍

They are not ready for adoption yet but will be once they are neutered, chipped & vaccinated.

NOAH UPDATE 🥰

I’ve been trying to get a new pic of Noah (this one’s from when he arrived) but he keeps sticking his head at the camera for head bumps 😂

Noah is doing really well. His cat flu has all gone & he’s not the sad boy you see here anymore he’s much happier now 🥳

His kidneys etc are fortunately ok it looks to have been starvation and particularly dehydration that have caused his urine problems & he’s now feeling much better 😁 He’s like a new cat he’s so confident & affectionate now.

Noah was only 2.85kg when he arrived! He’s gaining weight & I’m waiting to get a bit more on him & get him stronger before he goes in for his dental & neutering.

Overall he’s not fully recovered yet but he’s taken a big step forward & now we go into phase 2 of get Noah back on his paws 😁

Mulan says her foster mums hot water bottle cover is now all hers 🥰 Because foster mummy doesn’t need it in a heatwave, it would be dangerous so she going to catch it & drag it away 😂

Mulan is just the funniest & sweetest girl. She’s been through so much & whoever adopts her will be the luckiest family in the world.

She’s starting her vaccinations this week & will be ready for adoption in September 🥰

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 🐾 TO SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT NEUTERING

We need volunteers to help us do a leaflet drop round targeted areas of Bradford. We will be putting flyers round doors to offer low cost neutering to selected areas in Bradford.

We need 1 hour of your time approx on a Saturday.

We will be doing this the first Saturday of every month targeting a different area of Bradford each time.

You can volunteer as much or as little as you like.

Our first targeted areas will be the Ravenscliffe & Thorpe Edge estates.

I’ll make up a Facebook messenger group chat and I will post dates, times and areas & if you can volunteer let us know & we will put your name down.

If you have an hour free on a Saturday to spread the word about the importance of neutering then message us or comment below & I’ll add you to our group.

FOUND. These 2 girls have been living around Little Horton Lane BD5 for the past 18 months.

There are 2 other cats there one heavily pregnant and one male who’s been abandoned by the owner but we don’t know the owner of these 2.

If these are your cats please contact us asap otherwise they will be coming into the rescue on welfare grounds.

Playtime for Mercury 🥰

He is the most wonderful and perfect boy you could ever ask for. He’s so gentle & affectionate. He loves lap cuddles & to be picked up for a cuddle 🥰

He also likes to play with his toys especially his string toys.

Mercury is around 7ish years old & is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped & all ready to go.

He will need a home with access to a safe garden so no busy roads. He could live with another cat but not a big multi cat household.

He’d also be fine with children as he’s a gentle soul.

Over 50 cats spayed/ neutered in the last few months 🥳

We are really having a focus on neutering this year. With another vet practice now offering our vouchers we are able to help more people get their cats neutered/ spayed at an affordable price.

So far we have helped over 50 families get their cats spayed/ neutered in the last few months 🥳

That’s 50 cats no longer producing kittens, roaming for miles & getting lost & getting into fights.

We have had HUGE demand for our vouchers but we are unfortunately having certain people try to take advantage of the scheme.

We have now made the decision that our vouchers will only be given out at our in person events we will be hosting around Bradford & to more deprived areas of Bradford where we will be leafleting & knocking on doors to educate about cat care & the importance of neutering + offering our vouchers & offering low cost microchipping.

This makes the most use of our limited funds & ensures it goes to people who would not otherwise be able to afford it.

If you have already been told you can have a voucher we will honour that & still send you one.

Remember that neutering SAVES you money in the long run. One upfront cost paid now can save you hundreds of pounds later!
