After delays and changes in Lady's livery location, I now working on the revised route for this year's Trail Ride. Podiatrist and Physiotherapist visits to her have helped massively with prep for it. I will post the route once finalised, but what I can say is it's longer than the original Cornwall to Sussex. Also my grand daughter will be riding as much of it with me as she can. (Work commitments).
The location of Lady's livery in Sussex is perfect for getting us both well prepared. Thanks for all your patience. Lady, Jez and I can now really get into planning and preparing. All will be to raise awareness of Bone Cancer Research Trust and add to Kens Tribute Fund. Watch this space. 🙂🙂🐎🐎

My apologies for no recent updates. Lady is settling really well in her new home in Sussex. My grand daughter and I will be riding the trail ride together which is a Huge blessing.
Have a couple of possible routes in mind and once decided which one, I will share.
I have in mind to do mileage I couldn't do in 2018 when walking Southwest Coastal path. Thats when my knees let me down and subsequently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again for following which really helps keep me focused.
God bless you all. 🙏♥️

Starting to narrow down route to take. Briefly at the moment thinking of either Pulborough to Romsey, (New Forest) and back or East to Eastbourne and back. But as we are close to Southdowns Way, I not sure its going to be challenging enough. Obviously every mile, whatever the terrain will challenge me due to health issues, but a big part of Cornwall to Sussex was so many challenges with different terrains etc. Anyone have any thoughts on it? Or has anyone ridden South Downs way so knows if its a big challenge?

Excited about planning trail ride route in Sussex. Also a very good chance my grand daughter will be doing it with me.
Watch this space for updates.
Thank you for following.

Training for trail ride in Sussex begins. Didn't have my sticky pants on, and stupidly asked for a canter just as approached big puddle. She not used to big puddles yet. 🤦‍♀️. Rider error so her putting a little buck in was understandable. 🙂🐎

Looking forward to working out new route over the next week. Watch this space for next update which I'll do at the weekend. Thanks to everyone that's following.

So, due to health problems I am having to move Lady to my grand daughter in Sussex so she can help me. This means the route for the trail ride will be changed but it will still go ahead.
As soon as I decide where it will be I will post it.
Thank you to everyone following. I really appreciate it. It is such an encouragement. Have a blessed day everyone.

Well another first today. Not good though. First time ever Lady spooked at a double decker bus. Then spent rest of the ride 'flirting' with companion gelding we rode out with. Lessons learnt. You never stop learning. I pleased to find I still have a good seat. 🤣🙂
