Jacob has marked the last day of this epic challenge in the same way he opened it 🏋️ and we have to thank him for sharing this journey.

It’s been a bit emotional! From the crazy generosity we’ve seen, to the incredible community spirit. More than a tear has been shed. We’ve met new people, mayors, a lovely CEO, .bernard and of course the super Connal from Muscular Dystrophy UK who came to hand out some well deserved medals today, too. What a wonderful month it has been.

We already know we’ve made the first target of a jumbo jet off the ground, then the second, an airbus! The precise amount lifted will be calculated this evening and the justgiving link in the bio will remain open for a day or two.

By the end of this we calculate, with gift aid included, we will have raised enough money to fund an ENTIRE MONTH OF RESEARCH into muscle wasting conditions. Just amazing. 🧡🧡🧡

WELL…!

25 days… that’s how long it takes to lift TWO jumbo jets!!

OVER 1000 Tons!

They’ve smashed the challenge 🛩️ ✈️ the jets and all their passengers, luggage, crew and catering are officially OFF THE TARMAC!!

What an achievement and what a lot of support! We can’t thank you enough.

Nobody’s putting their weights down… let’s see what else is being lifted by the end of July 😅😂

Maximum effort all round… this week’s figures are quite astounding.

As we approach the end of this mammoth challenge month, every press, rep, lift is important. 2 fully laden jumbo jets don’t lift themselves!
