IMPORTANT UPDATE

At the present time we have had just 5 local charities requesting a gift of £100 to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. We are looking for another 5 groups or charities!!! If you are a group or charity meeting on Mersea Island and would like a gift of £100 just read the post below and drop us a letter of application this coming week.

Come September we will be celebrating 10 years since becoming a registered charity supporting the Community of Mersea Island. To celebrate we would like to gift £100 to ten local charities on the Island.
Maybe you are a member of a newly organised group and need help with renting a meeting place, purchasing equipment or just general running costs. No matter how small your group is, whether it be for kids, adults, mums or dads, we would like to help and support you!
Applications by letter please to Judith Wingar, Chairman of Mersea Community Support, 14 Fairhaven Avenue by 7th May.
