Our Story
If you didn’t know! Dynamite Drama is a charity youth theatre group and has been running on Mersea Island since June 2005. Dynamite was started to give the young people of Mersea Island and the surrounding area’s in Essex their own youth theatre group, where young people are supported and feel safe, learn to work as a team, mixed with their peers, build their confidence and stage skills, we are very proud of the fact that each member will have a talking part in each production. Dynamite Drama is an amazing group of young people with some supporting adults, who love drama, acting, singing, dancing and having fun, giving our members a love and passion for all performing arts.
Dynamite Drama run an hour and a half drama class each week, more nearer productions. Dynamite perform one big theatre based production per year, as well as attending other smaller events in the area and performing our own small fundraising productions to help support our big show.
On Saturday 29th at 7pm and Sunday 30th at 2pm and 7pm of June 2019 we will be perfroming “Off With Her Head.” in the MICA Centre, The High Street, West Mersea. This show is a new Wonderland story, which is full of fun and giggles.
