HI, I’M CHEETO💜

I’m not your typical easy-going cat, so I want to be completely honest about who I am. Firstly, the basics… I am 5 years old.

Life can feel a little overwhelming for me sometimes. When I’m unsettled, stressed, or faced with too much change, I can struggle and may react in ways that aren’t always ideal. Right now, I’m staying in a foster home, and it’s helped everyone learn more about what makes me feel safe, happy, and comfortable.

I’m not the kind of cat who will walk into a new home and instantly act like I’ve lived there forever. I need patience, space, understanding, and very low expectations while I settle in. Change is hard for me, but when I feel safe, my true personality starts to shine.

In my new home, I must be the only animal and I would only like to live with adults (no children thank you). I would like the opportunity to venture outside too! However, it must be safe for me to roam.

Lavender is looking for a Forever Foster home💜

Lavender has had a huge amount of investigations and treatments, due to ongoing gastrointestinal problems, but sadly we still do not have a definitive diagnosis. She regularly passes blood in her poo, and despite extensive testing and treatment, her symptoms continue. It is possible that Lavender has treatment-resistant IBD, however a cancerous cause cannot be completely ruled out. At this stage, there are no further investigations available that are likely to provide us with the answers we desperately wish we had.

What we do know is that Lavender is deeply unhappy in the cattery environment. Despite the care and attention she receives, she spends many nights crying and is clearly struggling with rescue life. She deserves so much more than this. Our priority now is ensuring she can enjoy the best quality of life possible in a loving home where she feels safe, secure, and cherished.

She is only 5 years old but we cannot say how long Lavender has with us, we hope it will be years rather than months, but the reality is that there are no guarantees. What we do know is that she deserves every chance to enjoy whatever time she has ahead of her. She is a sassy cat and can be a little temperamental in her moods but she is not intentionally aggressive.

Lavender must be the only pet in the home, as she does not enjoy sharing her space with other animals. A calm, quiet household with no children, where she can be the centre of attention will give her the best opportunity to settle and be happy.

As Lavender has ongoing medical needs, the charity will continue to cover her veterinary care, medication, and any specialist dietary requirements while she remains in Forever Foster care. You will need to be able to collect from our domestic site and transport her to our vets in mold as and when she needs it.

Our wildlife centre is currently running very low on kitchen roll!! 💜 Hedgehogs are adorable, but messy, so this is an essential item.

🦔 A dehydrated hedgehog needs WATER before FOOD 🦔

It may seem kind to offer food to a weak or dehydrated hedgehog, but hydration must come first.
When a hedgehog is dehydrated, its body is already under significant stress. Digestion requires water, energy, and proper circulation to function effectively. Offering food before rehydration can place additional strain on the body and may worsen the animal's condition. Severely dehydrated hedgehogs can also struggle to swallow or digest food safely.
If you find a hedgehog that appears lethargic, weak, sunken-eyed, wobbly, or dehydrated:
✅ Offer fresh water�✅ Keep the hedgehog contained in a warm and quiet area�✅ Contact a local wildlife rescue or hedgehog rehabilitator as soon as possible.

Once the hedgehog is properly hydrated and more stable, food can then be introduced safely- this is done by your rescue centre once sub-cutaneous fluids have been given.

The best thing you can do for a dehydrated hedgehog isn't feeding it- it's helping it rehydrate and get the specialist care it needs 🤍

Hi, I’m Pinot and I’m looking for my forever home💜

The humans at the rescue don’t quite know how old I am as I was a stray. They think I’m young though… maybe 2. I was found in a bush, the finder thought I was dead… DEAD?! I was in fact not dead and I also was not on my own. I was with my 4 babies.

I was taken back to the rescue, which I hated and decided this was no place to raise my babies, so I stopped feeding them. A very kind lady took them away and is looking after them and I realised the rescue isn’t so bad and I’ve been getting lots of cuddles from the nice people here.

I can still be a little timid, but I am very talkative and it doesn’t take me long to come out of my shell.

I would be happy to live with other cats, but certainly not dogs. Children would be okay too I guess, however they must be over 10.
