West Haddon Lunch Club are hosting Sunday Teas today. There's a lovely selection of home made cakes including vegan and gluten-free. Cake plus drink £2.50, takeaway cake £2, cash or card, 3 to 5pm.

It's Sunday, so that means it's Sunday Teas! This week your hosts are the Mothers' Union and they are running for AN EXTRA HOUR. So you will be able to get a hot drink and slice of homemade cake (or cheese scone) for just £2.50 between the earlier time of 2pm and 5pm. See you there!

I'm about to bake the vegan (treacle tart) and gluten-free (victoria sponge) options but I'll leave the cheese and onion scones until tomorrow morning so they are as fresh as possible ^Molly

Your hosts for Sunday Teas this week are Crick and West Haddon Tennis Club, who will today be serving a delicious selection of homemade cakes rather than 90mph aces. West Haddon Village Hall, 3 to 5pm, £2.50 for a drink and cake, takeaway cake £2 a slice (bring a tub!) We do have both vegan and gluten-free options available this week.

All Saints' Church, West Haddon, are your hosts for this week's Sunday Teas, 3 to 5pm. The Wimbledon final doesn't start until 4, so why not reduce the stress of waiting by popping down for a drink and a slice of homemade cake (£2.50)? Or pick up takeaway cake for just £2.

We've had an email today from Anglia Water, saying they have have reduced the water pressure in our postcode (NN6 7AN) because of current high water demand. So if you're using the village hall and the taps are just dribbling or the toilet cisterns take ages to fill, that's the reason why.

If this afternoon, you are not watching the Grand Prix or Wimbledon, or visiting Hollowell Steam, or snoozing to build up strength for tonight's England match, why not pop down to the village hall for Sunday Tea? Home-made cakes and cheese scones, bring your own box for takeaway purchases. We're here until 5pm.
