Where do we even begin with sweet Lola?
Most of you will know Lola's story if you've been following us for a while. She came to us as an emaciated girl who had been made to have puppies while suffering from a dislocated and fractured hip which were then left to heal on their own. Luckily, this lovely girl found her way to Sun Valley and she could finally leave those horrible days behind her.
She started to put on weight, and then muscle, and then was finally strong enough to have surgery on both of her hips. She has made an outstanding recovery, all while being one of the most amazingly sweet, trusting and loveable girls you could EVER meet! She's been with us for a few months while she recovered, and in that time has been fostered out twice to some of our lovely volunteers. Both foster families became absolutely besotted with her, just as we all are here at Sun Valley. She is quite literally a perfect girl.
She's a dog lover, a people lover and a total food lover too! She handled all of her recovery like a queen, and during the few months that she's been in our care we have all fallen totally head over heels for her. We absolutely cannot sing her praises enough.
Lola is now ready to find her forever home, and she so deserves to find herself her own family with people who are going to love and cherish her like we do here. If you are a loving, kind home with a Lola shaped hole in your heart - please, do get in touch. She does not deserve to spend another second in kennels, she deserves to go out there and live her life and show everyone she meets just how special she is.
