Could this be you? Do you know someone who might like to take on this role? If yes...please get in touch...we.would love to hear from you x⚜️x

Hi everyone,

Our Scout Group is thriving, and we love creating unforgettable adventures for the young people. To keep doing this—and to ensure we can upgrade our equipment, maintain our meeting space, and keep activities affordable—we need to tap into some brilliant community grants.

We are looking for a Funding Lead to join our team. You do not need any prior scouting or professional fundraising experience for this role.

If you are organised, comfortable filling out forms, and love a bit of online research, you are exactly who we need!

What the role involves:Researching: Looking into local community grants, business funds, and national Scout grants (we already have a shortlist of where to look!).

Applying: Writing and submitting grant applications on behalf of the group.

Collaborating: Working with our leadership team to understand what gear or projects we need funding for.

This is a highly flexible, remote volunteer role that you can easily do from home in your own time, requiring just a few hours a month.

It is a fantastic way to make a huge difference to your child’s Scout group without having to wear a uniform or run weekly sessions.

If you think you could help us spot and apply for these opportunities, please reply directly to this message or have a chat with one of the leaders at the next drop-off.

Thank you for your continued support!

Best regards,

Paul Stewart - Group Lead Volunteer
