Some leave a legacy. ❤️

You gave so much to Birmingham — building one of the biggest festivals in the city and creating opportunities for countless creatives through your Boxout events. You opened doors, brought people together, championed talent and helped so many dreams become reality.

Your impact is bigger than any event, stage or festival. It lives on in the people you supported, the artists you believed in, and the lives you touched along the way.

You were loved. You were appreciated. And your work will never be forgotten.

Money, uni, jobs, business... why does nobody break it down properly?

We’re fixing that with an educational video series on money, further education, jobs and business, made to properly help young people.

We just need the right faces to front it. So far, every presenter we’ve found talks like a textbook, and that’s not what we’re after.

What we want is real people with real stories. Maybe you built a side hustle , went to uni , decided uni wasn’t for you , bagged your first job, or learned how money works the hard way. That’s exactly the experience we’re looking for.

No fame needed. No follower count needed. Just you, being honest.

If you’re 18 to 27, live in Birmingham or the Black Country, and know a thing or two about any of the above, we want to hear from you!

We are really looking forward to bringing lots of new games and fresh ideas to our local libraries and community centres. There will be a fantastic variety of activities on offer, including:

Not by overthinking it. Not by waiting until you “feel ready.” You build it in the small, awkward moments saying hi first, asking the question everyone’s too shy to ask, having a go at something you think you’re bad at

Do that enough times and it stops being scary. That’s not a theory, that’s just what happens every single week at our youth club on Wood Lane.

No lectures. No “just believe in yourself” speeches. Just reps. Real practice, disguised as hanging out with new friends.

If you’ve heard “be more confident” a hundred times and still don’t know what that actually looks like in practice...

We’re getting closer to our indoor sessions! 🧱✨

Over the past month, our wet weather sessions have given us the perfect opportunity to test out new equipment and fresh setups in preparation for moving back indoors. 🌧️➡️🏛️

One of the setups we’ve been trying out is our brand-new Building Zone! The Lego, building blocks, and magnetic tiles have been an absolute hit with the children during this time, sparking so much creativity! 🏗️🧩

We can’t wait to bring the full Building Zone to our regular indoor timetable soon!

Free spaces for children to explore used to be everywhere. The nature center. The science museum. No admission, no barrier, just a parent and a curious child.

A parent shared that story with us, and it stuck. Because today, those free spaces are harder and harder to find.

When families lose free places to go, they lose more than an afternoon activity. They lose access, exploration, and time together.
