While our summer seaside trip may be over, the memories created will last a lifetime, and we wanted to take a moment to thank those who helped make the day even more special🌞

A huge thank you to Katie from Random Act of Kindness Black Country CIC for her incredibly generous donation of seaside toys, backpacks, sun cream and snacks. These thoughtful gifts brought excitement, comfort and plenty of smiles to the children and families who enjoyed the day.

We're also grateful to West Brom Building Society for their kind donation of refreshments and snacks, helping keep everyone fuelled for a fun-filled day by the sea.

Your generosity added those extra touches that helped turn a day out into a truly memorable experience for the families we support.

Thank you for helping create moments of joy, laughter and connection💜

🔦 Fundraiser Spotlight: Meet Dolly 💜

From taking up running just five months ago to completing her first-ever 10K, Dolly's journey is nothing short of inspiring🏃🏻‍♀️✨

At this year's Birmingham Running Festival, Dolly not only crossed the finish line with an incredible result, but also raised an amazing £1,000 for BCWA.

As someone who has experienced the impact of BCWA's support firsthand, Dolly wanted to give back by helping other women, children and families access the same support when they need it most.

Recently, we were delighted to present Dolly with a certificate at our Fashion Show fundraiser in recognition of her outstanding fundraising achievement.

Reflecting on the challenge, Dolly said:

"Every run has helped me rebuild my confidence, clear my mind and remind me that I'm stronger than I ever believed. If my fundraising helps even one person receive the same kindness, compassion and support that I received, then every mile will have been worth it." 💜

Thank you, Dolly, for turning your determination into something that will make a difference to so many others. We are incredibly proud to have you as part of .

There's still time to support Dolly's fundraising journey and help us continue providing vital support across our communities💜

💜 A huge thank you to the wonderful women of the NTCG Dudley District Women’s Discipleship Ministry for their incredible generosity and support💜

Representing congregations across Tipton, Dudley and Oldbury, the group recently donated a fantastic collection of toiletries and essential items for the women and families supported by Black Country Women’s Aid. We were also overwhelmed by the beautiful handmade bags, lovingly sewn and donated to help bring comfort and dignity to those accessing our services.

Our fundraising team were incredibly grateful not only for the generous donations, but also for the warm welcome they received on the day. On a scorching hot day this Summer, being greeted with ice lollies was a gesture that was very much appreciated and certainly helped keep us cool! ☀️🍦

Partnerships like these make a real difference to the lives of women and children rebuilding their lives after abuse. We are so grateful for the kindness, dedication and community spirit shown by everyone involved.
