🌟 The Great Get Together – In Memory of Jo Cox 🌟

On Friday, at Let’s Chat Hub in West Bromwich, we had the pleasure of hosting Our Great Get Together in memory of Jo Cox ❤️

The Jo Cox Foundation stands for building stronger, kinder, and more connected communities—and that’s exactly what we saw on the day. People came together to share stories, find common ground, and remind ourselves of what truly unites us 💛

There was a real sense of togetherness as we:

✨ Shared experiences
✨ Celebrated what we all have in common
Moments like these show the power of connection and how small conversations can help tackle loneliness and bring communities closer 🤝

🌟 Loneliness Awareness Week 2026 🌟

This week, we’re proud to be supporting Loneliness Awareness Week alongside The Marmalade Trust by taking part in “Share an Orange Day” 🍊

It was fantastic to see so many people getting involved—sharing oranges and taking time to reflect by completing their loneliness profiles. These activities helped spark meaningful conversations about how loneliness can affect each of us in different ways.

Our dedicated team and volunteers were there to listen, offer reassurance, and provide guidance to anyone who wanted to talk.
Even the smallest conversation can make a big difference 🤝

🌟 A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Volunteers – Let’s Chat Hub West Brom 🌟

Last week, during Volunteers Week, we took the time to celebrate the incredible people who make our hub such a warm and welcoming place 💙

Our Hub Manager, Colette, spent the week thanking each and every one of our volunteers and bringing everyone together at the hub. She shared:
✨ “We were overwhelmed with thank you messages – it’s great that our volunteers have all been recognised.” ✨

And it’s easy to see why… every person who walks into Let’s Chat Hub knows just how valuable our volunteers are. From their friendly smiles to their listening ears, they make a real difference every single day.

🎉 We wrapped up the week with a big thank you celebration on Friday, and it was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and feeling appreciated – truly a special moment for all involved.

✨ A huge festive thank you to everyone who has joined us at the Let’s Chat Hubs in Walsall and West Brom throughout 2025. Whether you came in for support, a friendly chat, a day out, or one of our joyful parties, you’ve helped make this year truly special.

🎄 We’ll be closing today at 3pm in Walsall and 2pm in West Brom so our team can rest and recharge for the year ahead.

🎁 We can’t wait to welcome our wonderful community back in the New Year for more connection, laughter, and support.
