A big thank you to everyone who was able to vote in yesterday's referendum on Wendover Neighbourhood Plan. The overall result was a resounding yes. This should afford some cooperation with higher local authority in local development.

The Countdown begins! It is only a week until you can vote on Wendover Neighbourhood Plan. You should have received a polling card weeks ago. The Plan seeks to protect the character of Wendover against inappropriate development. It will be a legal requirement for planners to take it into account, if the Plan is made (if the referendum result is in favour of it).

Consultation on the submission of the Neighbourhood Plan will continue until 12 August. The Plan and Associated Documents can be viewed online on the Wendover Neighbourhood Plan website, the Wendover Parish Council website and the AVDC Planning website, https://www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk/wendover-neighbourhood-plan.

Full details regarding the use of information provided, can be found on the AVDC main privacy notice:https://www.aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk/privacy-notice. Following the Consultation process, all the comments received and the Plan itself will be examined by an Independent Examiner (Regulation 17). This may result in amendments being made to the Plan, following which, the Final Plan will be submitted to the parishioners of Wendover in a Referendum.

The Consultation Period for Wendover Neighbourhood Plan has begun and will end on Thursday 21 March. If you are a Wendover resident, you should have received a leaflet through your door explaining about the Consultation. The Draft Plan is available at wendoverneighbourhoodplan.co.uk . It is important to respond even if you are fully supportive of the policies in the Draft Plan and have no other comments. Your POSTCODE needs to be recorded in the feedback summary. Thank you.
