Thinking of volunteering?
Do you have an hour free to help us out?
Wem Senior Club is a thriving club for the over 55s in Chapel Street. We hold weekly Coffee Mornings on a Thursday and other events too for our lovely members but we are in need of some extra help. If you have an hour to spare on a Thursday morning to help serve drinks or on a Wednesday evening to help set up tables and chairs or even fancy a bit of gardening at a time to suit you then please, please do get in touch. It was very summery today at coffee morning and we had a record-breaking number of visitors. We served a total of 61 drinks thanks to Jane Pearson and Helen Heath. It was lovely to welcome Penny Lewis back after a long absence and she got straight into serving cakes. Thank you all for coming.

We don’t ever want to turn people away so if you can volunteer or know someone who can, please put them in touch.

Almost ready for you to pop in tomorrow.
We have WONDERFUL CAKES, clothes and bric-a-brac for sale. Plus our little shop is open.
Over 100 TOMBOLA and RAFFLE prizes!
Pots of tea and coffee served to your table, BBQ food and CHILDREN’s GAMES.
Cold drinks available and did I mention CAKES 😆
We open at 11am

The forecast for Saturday is looking perfect for our Open Day and Summer Fayre so pop in and see us if you’re visiting the wonderful Sweet Pea Show.
Tea and cake will be available and also we’re firing up the BBQ!

Wem Senior Club is open tomorrow for the usual Coffee Morning 10am until 11:30.
We may also be open a little later.

Water and shade is available to ANYONE who needs a break from the heat.
