Dear Hertfordshire Branch members, it is with a very heavy heart I share the very sad news of Charles Ferrier’s passing.

Charles was a founder member of the Hertfordshire Branch, and worked tirelessly for the Society for more than 50 years, he died on 7th October 2025 and will be sorely missed.

Our thoughts are with his son Nicholas and his wife Margaret.

The family have invited all Branch members, current and past to attend the funeral which is to be held on Wednesday 12th November at West Herts Crematorium, High Elms Lane, Garston, Watford WD25 0JS at 2.30pm and afterwards at the Centurion Club, Hemel Hempstead Road, St Albans, Herts HP3 8LA.

Unfortunately I shall be unable to attend the funeral but will try and attend the celebration of Charles life at the Centurion Club after work.
