Nominations are now open for our 2026 Care Awards. These awards give us a further opportunity to celebrate the great work that our staff teams do each and every day right across our homes. This year there are 8 award categories for which staff members can be nominated.

These are:

👔 Father’s Day Celebrations at Quantum Care 👔

Yesterday, all of our care homes came together to celebrate Father’s Day, honouring the wonderful dads, grandads, and father figures. From thoughtful handmade gifts to delicious brunches, each home went the extra mile to make the day memorable for our residents 💙

Cecile, a resident at Greenacres Care Home, was delighted to be visited by her family’s pony, Bumble 🐴.

Bumble was brought in by Cecile’s daughter, Debbie, giving her the wonderful opportunity to be reunited with the pony and spend time with her once again.

It was a lovely and meaningful visit, which brought smiles to everyone who was there❤️

Anson Court Care Home in Welwyn Garden City is pleased to announce its upcoming Summer Market, taking place on Saturday, 27th June, from 11am to 3pm.

The event is open to all, with visitors invited to enjoy a selection of stalls, BBQ food, live music, and a variety of activities throughout the day.

🍸 Cheers to World Gin Day! 🍸

On Saturday, residents at Oakmoor Lodge Care Home in Bushey celebrated World Gin Day with a tasting session, featuring a variety of gins, classic gin and tonics, and alcohol-free alternatives.

The afternoon offered a perfect opportunity for everyone to connect, share stories and learn about the rich and fascinating history of gin.
