Guilsfield scouts is recruiting young people! We have space in all our sections for more young people and anyone is welcome. We get up to anything from climbing to photography and we are currently making weather stations as part of the meteorology badge 🌤️

Our sections
⚜️ Scouts, ages 10-14, meet every Wednesday
⚜️ Explorers, ages 14-18, meet once a month on a Friday.

Our Scouts, Brownies and Rainbows units led the procession to the Cenotaph this morning to join the Remembrance service and they did a fantastic job. Well done to all the children.

We will remember them.

A huge thank you to you all for coming to our Bonfire Night 2025!

A big thank you to our small team of volunteers who work so hard to make this event happen.
A special thanks goes to Guilsfield Young farmers and members of the community who stepped in to help when we put a shout out for extra help. It is hugely appreciated 👏

In order for this year's Bonfire Night to take place, we desperately need some volunteers to help a small team of committee members to make it happen.
We are having a meeting tomorrow night at 6pm at the Jubilee Hut to discuss the event.
Please come along if you can.
Bonfire Night is our only event that raises money for the hut.
If we cannot get enough help, sadly there may not be a Bonfire Night event this year.

Guilsfield Brownies have been working very hard on their entry, 'The Brownie Badge Book' for the Scarecrow Trail!
Get your trail sheets from the Bottom Shop and come and visit their fantastic Betty Brownie at the hut, and admire their hard work.
All proceeds go to Guilsfield School.

Could you help our Scouting group? They desperately need volunteers or the group will sadly come to an end. This group is so important to the children. Please share.

Yesterday, leaders, scouts and parents from Guilsfield scouting, came together to sort out our kit! It was great to see what we have in our stores, and to put all our tents up to get them ready for the camping season ahead!

Sadly, this may be guilsfield scoutings last summer using all this fabulous equipment if we do not get any more volunteers. We are due to close in July due to lack of adult volunteers.
