St Cuthbert's Church Wells

St Cuthbert's Church Wells Welcome to St Cuthbert's, the largest parish church in Somerset in the heart of the city of Wells.

St Cuthbert's exists to show God's love and welcome to all people, and to give that love back to God in worship. Whether you're visiting or live here, you're very welcome to join us for worship, look round our amazing church building, or join us for any of our activities. Worship is each Sunday at 10:45, and is open to everyone from the seasoned churchgoer to the simply curious—we believe that no

matter who you are, you'll find a welcome and a message that will make you want to return and find out more.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and St Cuthbert's Church has something for everyone!
At 4.00 pm there will be the Crib Service when the Christmas story is re-told for young children. Do bring your kids and they can dress up as their favourite characters from the stable - angels, kings, donkeys, lobsters, spidermen, whatever they like! We also have costumes they (and their adults!) can borrow.
Later in the evening we will celebrate the first communion of Christmas Day at Midnight Mass. This starts at 11.00 pm.
Do join us.

Today we said farewell to our vicar, Sam, his wife, Paula, and family. It was a big occasion with a congregation from Wells, Wookey Hole, and beyond. It was also a great pleasure to have our mayor, Louis Agabani, and his mayoress, Mary-Ellen Nowell, to represent the people of the City of Wells.
