Here’s a fun little post which I hope you can join in with!
As miniaturists, I think we all love small things. There is something so enchanting and delicate about them. For me, I love African art, and twenty years ago I started a collection of African Goldweights. These pieces were used widely in Africa for trading gold dust. Each piece is created using the lost wax method, and come in hundreds of different shapes from frogs to tribal portraits. It is a truly addictive hobby!

Hi all! Just a quick update to remind you that The Hilliard Society International Exhibition of Miniature Art 2026 begins Saturday 4th until Saturday 11th July At Wells Town Hall, Wells, Somerset.
