Then there were three...✨ In 1995 Orchard Vale Trust continued to defy gravity and our third home St Chads opened it's doors and 4 new residents had a place to call home🏡 .

To celebrate 40 years of overcoming every challenge and defying all odds, we are hosting our Ruby Ball! This isn’t just a party. Our founders knew there is no place like home, so they joined together with others to defy gravity and create Orchard Vale Trust. Our staff always say that this isn’t a care home, this is just home💚 🏡 .

We’re turning 40, and we’re celebrating in style! 🥂 Join us for a very special evening at our 40th Anniversary Ruby Ball at the breathtaking Bailbrook House Hotel🏨, on 10th October 2026 .

Expect a magical night filled with delicious food, flowing drinks, and plenty of dancing as we celebrate four decades of our amazing OVT family and community.✨

Our Compliance Manager Elainna is participating in the Castle to Castle, Edinburgh to Glamis 100mile Ultra Marathon, organised by RatRace this Saturday!!⛰️ 🏃‍♀️‍➡️ Through this she is raising funds for OVT as well as Children with Cancer UK.

She said “I try and do something each year that pushes my own physical boundaries but also benefits other people, I've done Ben Nevis twice for Alzheimer’s UK, Isle of wight for Sepsis UK, and a few others but this will be by far the longest and probably hardest event. The Event starts at Edinburgh Castle, over Forth bridge and heads up the east coast via Kirkcaldy, Leven, Crail, Dundee and ends at the beautiful Glamis castle near the Cairngorms national park.”

Nothing makes us happier than happy flower lovers! One of our lovely customers just shared that their bouquet lasted a whole week with proper care. We put so much love into growing our East Court garden blooms, and hearing this makes it all worthwhile. Want your own fresh blooms? Visit Brownes Garden Centre, fresh bouquets delivered every Wednesday.

Last Saturday, the OVT family gathered in the beautiful East Court garden for our Tea on the Lawn🍵 . We couldn't have asked for better weather, sweeter treats, or finer company! It was so special to catch up, share old memories, and celebrate together under the sun. A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a lovely afternoon!☀️ ✨ 💚

On Friday 12th June, we held our very own golf day in memory of Toby Charnaud. It’s really heartwarming to see this event grow year after year. It is always so lovely to see everyone involved in Orchard Vale Trust’s Golf Day in Memory of Toby Charnaud. There couldn't be a better way to celebrate our 40th birthday with our golfing community!

So, we want to thank everyone- The Charnaud Family, Golfers, Sponsors, Cumberwell Park, and OVT Staff, who made the day such a success! Keep an eye out on your emails- we’ll be announcing next year’s dates soon! Have a look at some snap shots from the day!
