Another project completed for a returning customer 🙌

We previously plasterboarded and plastered the main Scout Hall, so it was great to be asked back to carry out further works.

This time, we plasterboarded and plastered all of the additional ceilings at the Wells Scout Hall – leaving them smooth, clean, and ready for decoration 👌

Always proud to support local community spaces and even better when customers come back to us for the next phase of their project.

Help keep Wells Scouts running strong for our young people ⚜️

Behind every camp, hike, and badge, there is a small team making sure our Group is safe, compliant, and financially sound.

We are currently looking for a number people to join our Trustee Board to help oversee the running of our Charity.

We are looking for:
1️⃣ A Chair: To lead the team and keep us moving forward.
2️⃣A Secretary: To keep us organised and record our discussions and decisions.
3️⃣General Trustees: To offer a fresh perspective and help with collective decision making.

We meet in person at the Scout Hut, just once or twice a term. It has the opportunity to be a low-frequency commitment that makes a massive difference to the young people in our Group.

You don’t need scouting experience, just a willingness to get stuck in and to support!

This morning, we also have a dedicated team of our Trustees, Leaders, young people and their families - all pitching in to help count the donations from last night.

Thank you all for giving up time today to lend a hand; and we can't wait to hear the final figures and see what was raised! 🤞💷

🎉 Thank You, Wells Carnival! 🎉

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who spotted our Scout Group’s collection float at last night’s Wells Carnival and donated so generously. Your support helps both our young people and the Carnival itself thrive — thank you!

👏 A special shout-out to the brilliant Cub; and the Explorer from Wells Pheasants Explorer Scout Unit, who joined our Leaders behind the float — picking up stray coins, chatting with the crowd, and representing The Scouts with pride and positivity.

🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ And to our roaming collectors who walked the route with buckets in hand, including one dedicated Scout — thank you for stepping up and helping us make a difference, you did a fantastic job!

It was a fantastic evening of community spirit, and we’re proud to have played a small part in it. Until next time!
