It encourages and extends accessibility and inclusion in the enjoyment and process of contemporary art for all sections of the public

The Alfred Cohen Museum is offering a new art prize for the work accepted for the WIGHTON26 exhibition – next year’s show put on by the North Norfolk Exhibition Project – which is judged to best address the exhibition theme of ‘undercurrent’. Last chance this weekend to see WIGHTON25, the North Norfolk Exhibition Project’s stunning show at All Saints Church, Wighton, near Wells-next-the-Sea, NR23 1AL. Open 10-5 Saturday and Sunday.
Works by over 40 artists respond to the church and its beautiful surroundings. They have been selling well; there is also a shop featuring smaller works, and a sale of post-card sized art works. Don’t miss this spectacular event!

The exhibition is 3 minutes down the High Street from the Alfred Cohen Museum, located in the old School House, together with the School House Gallery. The Museum also has a new exhibition, ‘Cohen’s Creatures’, featuring the artist’s images of animals in several media.

Too good to miss! As we head towards the last week of the NNEP’s summer exhibition in Wighton Church, we hope you’ll come and see it if you haven’t already. Fantastic work by 40+ artists, responding to the location, the Church and the countryside. Come and try out Michelle Louise Carter’s ‘Meditation Teepee’!

You can also see the new exhibition of ‘COHEN’S CREATURES’ at the Alfred Cohen Museum in the School House. His cats, roosters and insects have been much admired!
