Using your club card to blag your way onto another club's water, saying you didn't know, is not acceptable. Waters that are fishable are in your club book. Other clubs and ours share information with people trying this on, so if you are found fishing another club's water with our membership, you will lose it.

We have had issues with an otter entering and exiting the Barker's area, which the Angling Trust has helped with, and hopefully, this is now sorted. However, what does not help is members leaving gates open. Yes, it's members or people fishing, as they have reported back to us, as they had trail cameras up to see what wildlife was going in or out. A few members have been caught this weekend by bailiffs leaving gates open and have been dealt with. But going forward, any member seen or found leaving a gate open will lose their membership, with no exceptions. We, as a club, do not spend thousands of pounds to put protection up for our fisheries for us to lose fish and then have to replace them again at a cost. Yes, I know some dog walkers leave gates open, but if you see one, close it. It's embarrassing when the Angling Trust sees our members do it, so now it's zero tolerance.

❌ ❌ ❌ ❌ ❌ ❌ ❌
Please can all anglers be responsible with their nets when visiting, with the reports of KHV across the country we are concerned that if anglers do not dry their nets appropriately this devastating disease could affect us and other fisheries.
Nets are a main contributor to spreading this disease between fisheries.

All nets must be laid out to dry behind your pegs and not piled up on top of each other, there will be no tolerance regarding this, if you are caught not abiding by this rule, you will be asked to leave.

Any nets coming on site should be dry.
If your fishing matches here or any other venue every little helps and the longer the nets are out in the UV the better, so when arriving at any fishery if your nets are wet, rather than standing around and chatting for an hour before you draw why not get your nets out to dry.

Don't ruin your local fishery by being careless with your nets..
