A big congratulations to FS Owen for completing the LASER March last weekend! 🥳🥾

Silver Road Marching and Road Marching in general is a demanding, but rewarding process. She completed an incredible 80km over the two days, showing strong resilience, teamwork and determination.

As a whole, the weekend brought together cadets and personnel from all over LASER, completing Bronze, Silver, and for some teams acts as part of the qualifier for those attending the 4 day, 120km (100 mile) marching event in Nijmegen, Netherlands.

Congratulations to all those involved! An amazing achievement. 🎉

A huge congratulations to recently promoted FS Bennett! 🎉

FS Bennett has been exemplary in his dedication to the squadron and cadet service. He has constantly demonstrated great leadership, from acting as IC on the team responisble for new recruit intakes- to being an exceptional role model for all cadets.

We are sure he will thrive in this new position and continue to be a true asset to the NCO team at 358. We hope he enjoys the new responsibility and experiences that will come with the next stage of his cadet career.

A promotion very well deserved!!

Last night - Pancake day! 🥞

The cadets got stuck in with the trangias working in groups to make some tasty pancakes 😋 With the goal of eating in sight and enough oil to stop them sticking, some rather yummy pancakes were flipped! A very fun evening all round!!

Last weekend, two of our cadets, CDT Jasrah and CPL Escobar took part in the first Kent Wing Road Marching Weekend of 2026! 🥾🥾

CPL Escobar completed her Blue Award - walking 27km in total, 12km on Saturday and 15km on Sunday.

CDT Jasrah completed her Bronze Award - going up a gear and walking 40km in total!

Congratulations to them both for completing a challenging but successful few days at St Martain's Plain Camp and across the surrounding area. 🎉

This year, FS Murphy attended the annual RIAT 2025 Camp- the world's largest military airshow. ✈️

From being stationed at daily taskings across the airfield to exploring the packed taxiways, there was never a boring moment! As a national camp, there were cadets from all over the UK. It was exciting to see the different jobs and roles people had to keep the camp running smoothly; communications, media, transport, and more, collectively making RIAT an unforgettable experience!

For FS Murphy, her highlights were the incredible F-35 and F-18 displays, an up close tour of the B-1 Lancer, collecting patches/ flight tags, meeting senior members of staff such as the Commandanf of the ATC, Cheif of Air Staff and AOC Group 22, making new connections and being part of Phantom flight!! (The best flight)
