It's Fuel Poverty Awareness day today.

At WRCC we are proud to be helping by providing a place to go to with our Warm hubs, supplying resources to keep you warm over winter and signposting to the partners we work with to tackle Fuel Poverty.

We also provide energy efficiency savings via our energy buying syndicate, keeping heating costs at an affordable level. More information can be found here:

Does your house suffer from damp, mould and condensation expecially around this time of year?

Cadent have put together supporting information as well as their new project of FREE wash rooms for the community. Check out the link below for more information and keep an eye out for more wash rooms coming up in the near future.

Today, weโ€™re proud to announce the launch of our campaign to support people living in mould and damp conditions.

From working with Groundwork and Cadent Foundation to produce tips on how to live safely at home, to piloting the launch of new Warm Wash Rooms at our Centres for Warmth, weโ€™re here to support you this winter.

Warm hub round up!

It's been a busy couple of months, Anne and Mary have attended various events to support the community whilst signposting to our Warm hubs, services, PSR and Carbon Monoxide advice.

Thank you to Hannah from NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board for supporting Cancer screening Workshops across our Warm hubs, Stratford Town Trust for allowing us to come to your Repair Cafe and meet your amazing Volunteers! NEA for hosting West Midlands Fuel Poverty Forum and to all the communities who contributed to Remembrance day.

These are just a few of the many pictures from our whereabouts!

A beautiful picture is of Saint James Church in Snitterfield of the many hand knitted poppies crafted by members of the Community and the Warm hub.

We love to hear what the community is up to, please like and share your photos with us.
Contact the Warm hub team if you would like us to share your work.

[email protected]

Thank you for your continued support!

As the cooler weather sets in remember these tips from Cadent

โ„๏ธ As the weather gets colder, make sure your external pipework is in good condition to protect the pipes from freezing.

โš ๏ธ A frozen boiler condensate pipe can stop your boiler working and potentially leave you without heating, cold water and unable to cook.

Our guide to what to do if your boiler stops working will help you troubleshoot any problems - see ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป www.cadentgas.com/boiler-not-working.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปAs always, contact a Gas Safe Registered Engineer on 0800 408 5500 as soon as possible if you have any concerns with your boiler.
