A wonderful ESOL and Ladies Learning session today, with a fantastic turnout and great engagement from everyone involved. It’s inspiring to see women coming together to build confidence, develop new skills, and support one another on their learning journey.

A wonderful morning of ladies socialising, connecting, and enjoying a refreshing health & wellbeing walk. Spending time outdoors, staying active, and sharing positive conversations can do so much for both mental and physical health — helping to reduce stress, boost mood, improve fitness, and create a sense of community and wellbeing.

Our ESOL students took part in a creative art session, using painting and drawing to express themselves, build confidence, and develop communication skills in a fun and supportive environment.

The activity encouraged teamwork, creativity, and conversation while giving students the opportunity to share their ideas and cultures through art.

We are proud of their enthusiasm, talent, and willingness to try something new!

Today’s ESOL session stepped outside the classroom and into real life — and that’s where the best learning happens.

We took our students on a practical trip to build confidence in everyday situations many of us take for granted. First stop: the cash point. Students learned how to safely use an ATM, check their balance, and withdraw money — all while practising key vocabulary and phrases in English. For many, this was their first time doing it independently, and the sense of achievement was clear.

Next, we headed to a local café where students practised ordering food and drinks. From reading the menu to asking questions, placing an order, and paying, they used English in a real, meaningful context. These moments are powerful — they turn language into action.

Trips like this aren’t just about language learning. They’re about building confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging in the community. Real-life skills, real conversations, real progress.

What an amazing evening at our ladies Eid Celebration Party and the launch of our new project ‘Women Leading Change’ thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund

We had the pleasure of bringing women together in a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment to socialise, connect, and celebrate. The event provided a meaningful opportunity to foster community spirit, build relationships, and create lasting memories.

We are also proud to announce the launch of Women Leading Change — a new initiative dedicated to empowering women, supporting personal and professional growth, and amplifying women’s voices within our community.
Together, we continue to inspire leadership, resilience, and positive change.

Also a big shout out to Delhi Streets for doing the catering , the food and service was 10/10 !!
