The Memorial Orchard

The Memorial Orchard A community orchard of Cheshire heritage fruit trees in memory of those who served in the two World Wars and more recent conflicts.

The Memorial Orchard group began meeting in 2014 with the aim of establishing a community orchard of Cheshire heritage fruit trees; particularly the 'Wareham Russet'; in memory of all those who served in the two World Wars and more recent conflicts. The orchard now has approximately 160 fruit trees, mostly apple with a couple of Hazel Pears and damsons. The Memorial Orchard is situated within Thorn Wood on Northwich Road between Weaverham and Hartford, CW8 3AN.
