LEGO SHOUT OUT!
Do you have any lego stashed that you no longer need?
We are getting ready for our Family Fun day in October half term & would like to run a 'Lego' activity again. BUT, we need some Lego!
The Lego building has been popular, especially with the older children and we'd love to be able to run it again.
Any donations would be much appreciated. Doesn't have to be sets, just lose bricks of any sort would be welcome.

We are so pleased to have raised over £125 for Macmillan Cancer Support. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the coffee morning and to the local businesses who supported us with prizes for the Tombola. Brilliant.

More FREE Falls Prevention classes!

We are very pleased to have been awarded a grant from Sport England's 'Movement Fund' to fund another round of free 'Falls Prevention' exercise classes. These classes are specifically aimed at helping you to keep mobile and steady - and they work!

See the posters for full details. This time the classes will be run by

- Your Health, with Cameron on Thursday between 2.15 and 3.15

and

- Move It or Lose It with Laura, on Friday between 9.30 and 10.30.

We’ve had a such a fantastic 5 weeks of activities here down at the community centre. It’s so lovely to see familiar faces each week - and new ones too!
We’d like to give a special thank you shout out to Mr Whippy Watton who has sponsored two of our fun days this year and came down today and served ice cream to the children for FREE!!!! We’re so lucky to have such a fantastic local ice cream man!! 🍦

The fun days will return in the October half term for some fancy dress madness! 🎃
