A welcoming and supportive community of parents in and around Watton, providing support, information and groups to enjoy for you and your little ones in their early years (0-5). Our Journey began way back in early 2019 with a shared vision from St Marys Church, the Town Council and Community Members, to provide more for families and the ever-growing population in Watton. Fast forward to late 2019
and we sadly lost our Town’s Children’s Centre, a vital support for parents. This left a significant gap within the community, one which we hope to begin to fill with the Watton Family Hub. We aim to run social, fun, and educational groups for parents and their young children (0-5) including infant feeding support from trained peer supporters. Through our work with families, we hope to facilitate a strong and resilient community of parents, where peer to peer support is at the heart of all that we do. We have an ever-growing team of passionate and caring volunteers who get as much from giving back to the community as is received by the community. We hope to be able to thrive and provide even more for Watton families. We are based within the Watton Youth and Community Centre on Harvey Street, but may make use of a variety of venues throughout the town. We have built up strong relationships with complimentary services and provisions across Watton, Breckland and Norfolk. If we cannot help directly, we will know someone who can!
