The weather was very changeable as 11 Meet Watton members embarked on a scenic 4.3 mile circular walk around Stoke Ferry & Wretton. We started from Limehouse Fen, and walked through the beautiful countryside and picturesque villages, and along the River Wissey, where we saw the boats moored with their established garden plots. Further along the river we came to the sluices and the first siphon fish pass installed in this country. A very interesting, friendly and fun walk was had by all. We finished our walk with a delicious lunch at The Crown Hotel in Mundford. Thanks to Malcolm for leading us. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

What a fantastic morning at our ‘Fruit Pastels’ art session with Rachel Duffield! 🎨🍎🍐

There was plenty of creativity and friendly chat as everyone put their artistic skills to work. The standard of artwork produced was absolutely stunning, and it was wonderful to see so many different interpretations and styles emerge throughout the session.

A huge well done to everyone who took part – you should all be very proud of what you created! 😊

What a fantastic start to the weekend! ☀️

This morning, a group of us met at The Olde Windmill Inn in Great Cressingham for a delicious breakfast and a chance to catch up with friends, both old and new.

The conversation flowed, the laughter was non-stop, and the food certainly didn't disappoint! As if that wasn't enough, Glenn surprised us all with some impressive card tricks at the end of the meal, leaving everyone thoroughly amazed and wondering how on earth he did it! ♠️♦️♣️♥️

It's mornings like these that make our group so special – great company, lots of fun, and plenty of memorable moments.

A wonderful Wednesday walk with 11 Meet Watton members. We enjoyed a scenic 4.5 mile walk around Knettishall Heath. It was lovely to see the ponies and the majestic foxgloves, and to make the best of the beautiful weather we finished our walk with a picnic. Lots of friendly chat was exchanged and lots of fun and laughter was enjoyed by all. Thanks to everyone for coming along, and to Malcolm, Chrissie and Alan for sharing your photos. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Meet Watton members enjoyed beautiful weather today for their relaxed and friendly 4.5 mile stroll around the historic town of Thetford, once the ancient capital of East Anglia. We made a visit to The Priory of Our Lady of Thetford, and visited other points of interest before following the river Little Ouse to explore the beautiful green spaces that surround Thetford. We finished our walk with a delicious lunch at The Black Horse, Thetford. Thank you to David for leading us on this very interesting and informative walk and to everyone for their friendly company. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

12 Meet Watton members enjoyed perfect walking weather for their 4 mile scenic walk through mature pine plantations and stands of oak at Great Hockham Woods. Lots of friendly chat, fun and laughter was had by all. A delicious lunch, and a catch-up was enjoyed after the walk at The Chequers Inn. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

A huge well done to our two fabulous quiz teams who had a fantastic evening at tonight’s quiz! 🎉

Lots of laughs, a delicious fish and chip supper, several raffle wins, and brilliant results too — finishing in 6th and 12th place respectively.

Well done everyone for a great night out! 👏

A real mix of weather for our scenic Wednesday walk around East Bilney — sunshine, rain and even hail! 🌦️ Despite it all, the views were absolutely stunning along the way, and the group was very happy to finish with a delicious lunch courtesy of Lakeside Cafe 😊
