Fantastic news! We’re proud to have been recognised as the top Sixth Form in Watford in The Telegraph Sixth Form Rankings 2026. 🎉

The rankings assess a range of measures, including A Level performance, university progression, Russell Group destinations, and subject choice. We were delighted to receive the highest rating, “Very Good”, with an outstanding score of 36/40.

🚴‍♀️🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷 Former WGGS Head Girl Cycles from London to Paris for Cancer Research 💙

We are delighted to celebrate the incredible achievement of Dr Neha Chopra, former WGGS Head Girl, Women of Vision Trust trustee and consultant medical oncologist specialising in breast cancer.

On 9 September, Neha joined 65 other cyclists on an inspiring journey from London to Paris, raising funds for The Royal Free Cancer Charity and its new Cancer Centre.

Despite balancing a busy career, family life with three children and recovering from surgery for a ruptured ACL, Neha fulfilled a dream she had held since taking up cycling 11 years ago.

Reflecting on the challenge, Neha credits her time at WGGS, including completing her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards, and embracing the school's spirit of "I can do it and I will do it".

Neha shared an inspiring message:

"It doesn't matter how fit you are, how young you are, or what bike you ride. What matters is that you do it!"

So far, she has raised over £5,500 for cancer research, with support from her husband, who generously donated his 50th birthday gifts to the cause.

Congratulations, Neha, on this remarkable achievement and thank you for making a difference to so many lives. 👏💙
