We’ve had a wonderfully busy and exciting time celebrating the season and exploring new experiences together!

Our Easter celebrations were full of joy and lots of fun for everyone. We also marked Earth Day by making our very own seed bombs, learning how we can care for our environment and help plants grow. During Science Week, the children were fascinated by our growing caterpillar experiment! During our ‘Spring’ week we enjoyed playing with our sensory ‘grass’ and planting our vegetables.

Leavesden Group also enjoyed a very special visit from BM Care. A few residents joined us and kindly gifted the children some beautiful handmade dolls, which was a lovely, shared experience for everyone.

Story Week brought big smiles with our Supertato-themed activities, including pea mashing and an exciting obstacle course! We then wrapped up with Messy Play Week, where the children had great fun exploring messy eggs with foam and paint, creativity was certainly on full display- great scooping and mixing everyone!

Are hearts are truly warmed 💜

We were so delighted to welcome the wonderful residents from M Care, who visited us to gift their beautiful handmade plush toys to our little ones. Each child carefully chose their favourite, creating such special moments filled with smiles, cuddles, and joy.

Seeing generations come together in this way is incredibly powerful — bringing comfort, connection, and happiness to everyone involved. These are the moments that stay with us.

A heartfelt thank you to the residents of B&M Care M Care for your kindness, creativity, and generosity. You brought so much joy to our families today 🌟

Looking for something fun to do with your little ones? There’s a fantastic local event coming up for families with under 5s!

🕚 11:00am – 3:30pm
📍 Hosted at The Venue Leisure Centre
✨ Enjoy a day packed with activities, including:

• Soft play (£3 for under 5s)
• FREE trial swimming lesson*
• FREE face painting & colouring
• FREE health checks & refreshments
• Plus the chance to meet local services, including YMCA and Home-Start
(Pre-booking required for swimming lessons)

💛 Please note: This is not a Home-Start organised event, but some of our team will be there on the day and would love to see you if you’re able to come along.
