Hertfordshire Community Play Projects

Hertfordshire Community Play Projects Hertfordshire Community Play Projects is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation that aims to provide quality play provision and community support in Herts.

We are a community led Charitable Organisation that aims to provide high quality community services throughout Hertfordshire. We are based in Watford, and our priority is replacing the Adventure Play service that was provided by Watford Borough Council until the 31st October 2016. We are in the process of registering as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and hope to have our charity numb

er in the new year. In addition we are searching for new premises to run our services from, this will include much needed nursery places for two year olds (initially, once established we will look to extend the provision), an after school club where children can be cared for by qualified playworkers who can support with homework, provide healthy snacks and create a positive and supportive environment for children to play in. We are keen to provide for the whole community, and our new premises will provided for adults as well as children, with advocacy and support groups, education and short courses, and opportunities to get involved through our volunteer programme. We have had a hard journey so far, over the short space of just six months. You can read more about that throughout the website. We have worked hard to make this happen, and have had some wonderful support from the community along the way. The only way we can succeed is with the continued support and guidance from the community.
