Good morning from skippy the red kangaroo at Ventura Wildlife Foundation. Check out those long ears. They provide excellent hearing to detect predators and other sounds from a long distance, giving the kangaroo a critical advantage to escape or defend itself.

As part of today's shop clearance, we will be selling off all our Christmas decorations, from lights and Christmas trees through to snowmen and tree decorations. There are lots of amazing bargains to be had.
Be sure to pay us a visit any time between 11am-3pm. Entrance open to all.
Hot and cold refreshments will be available.

All funds raised go directly to the Ventura Wildlife Foundation today to support our conservation work.

Come and join us between 11am-3pm for our big shop clearance event inside the Lodge. Open to all, no need to book.

We have a huge range of products to choose from, including
Homeware, soft toys, toys, stationary, candles, natural products, clothing and so much more.

We will also be clearing our Christmas and Halloween decorations as well as some of Lodge our furniture.

Snacks and beverages (hot and cold) will also be on sale.

Access is open for all. There is no need to book. Just come on in (excludes access to any other part of the site, including gardens and animal collection).

What a great Final Farewell Celebration

The mighty American Bison was brought back from the brink of extinction by collaborative conservation efforts. One of the most impressive conservation success stories.
We are lucky enough to have a trio and our first ever calf at our conservation centre in Hertfordshire.
Come and see them in person at the last open day on 6th September 2026.
