Are you an unpaid carer?

You may be able to get a £300 grant to pay for an activity or service that provides you with a short break from your caring role.

For example:

• Day trips
• Overnight stays
• A sitting service
• A pass for the gym or an exercise class
• Well-being activities.

An unpaid carer is someone who provides or intends to provide care for an adult, or disabled child. This could be caring for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support.
