The wildlife garden in All Saints Church green space also welcomed Squirrel Scouts, they saw new birds, planted some vegetables and brought some food for the digester .
Why not pop along on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month 10:30-12:30 to see what the wildlife group is up to or think about joining ?

The wildlife garden and biodigester are coming together nicely in All Saints church’s green space . We welcomed WINACC representatives (Wi******er action on climate change) to see the biodigester .
Soon the biodigester will start to accept food waste from our businesses ,
Watch this space for events in the August church summer festival featuring the garden.

We are back at the new Community Garden at Denmead Community Centre this Friday 12th June between 1.30-3.30, as there is lots of work to be done.

We made great progress last week, and we are putting in an extra session this week. We’ll also be there next Friday 19th June.

Everyone is welcome to help with the gardening jobs, any age or ability! We looking forward to meeting you there!!!

Our colleague Claire is at Waterlooville Library today to offer advice and support to residents. We also have our house which shows the energy efficiency measures which can be installed at your home! Pop along for a chat!

Huge thanks to Mundy Gardening Services and MGM Landscaping LTD for their very generous donation and continued support of the Greening Denmead Community Garden at Denmead Community Centre.

We are delighted that we now have one filled raised bed with excellent quality compost. We can’t wait to get planting!! Thank you!!! 🌱🫜🥒🥕🥦🪏🪴

Wednesday, 18 February 2026 - 7:30pm in Buriton Village Hall
An illustrated talk: 'Hidden Lives in our Hedgerows, Gardens and Fields'.

Many of the most important creatures in our countryside live quietly out of sight, keeping the countryside alive. This talk, by Andy Davidson of Hampshire County Council, will uncover their remarkable life stories and explain how their lives connect closely with our own.

A relaxed, illustrated and eye-opening evening in the village hall which should be perfect for gardeners, walkers and anyone curious about nature.

Admission is free with a retiring collection.
