PROGRAMMES NOW ON SALE!

Thanks once again to these local businesses, you can now buy this year's Carnival Programme from WATER ORTON FISH BAR, The Dog Inn - Water Orton, The Village Cantonese, The Link, Water Orton Library & Community Centre, Old Salteians Rugby Club, Lavish Look, O’Connors, Orchard Nurseries and The Gardeners Rest Tea Room.

We'll also be busy making our way around the village selling programmes over the next few weeks.

Entrance is by programme only with a useful saving if you buy from us in advance. Prices are just £3 in advance and £4 on the day (£2.50 in advance and £3 on the day for OAPs).

And don’t forget, each adult programme admits 2 children FREE.

We are fundraising to support Water Orton Scout Group, enabling the Scout Group to continue supporting our young people. Two of our leaders are taking on the challenge of a Firewalk on the 2nd of May and showing that yes, you can!

We are selling tickets for a Solihull Baron ice hockey match on Saturday 14th February doors open at 6pm.

We are attending Christingle service at St Peter and St Paul’s Church on Christmas Eve, and we are excited to see our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and families join us. Can we ask any members joining us to please attend in uniform. Service is due to start at 3pm, so please arrive a little before

We are excited about the Explorers all getting invested over the past few weeks.
After starting Explorers (14-18yrs) in September between Water Orton Scout Group & Coleshill Scout Group, we have had a great term finishing off with two great events where we invested nearly all the young people and volunteers.
Explorers have planned activities and events for the beginning of 2026; it's going to be an exciting year ahead.

Steps to becoming an Explorer Unit

Over the past term, we have gone from a group of young people and adults to becoming an Explorer Unit. It has been a fantastic term, with Ice Skating and Rock Climbing to come.

I am so excited to say that we have created our first part of our identity, our Necker and they are on order for delivery late January 🥳
