Mother’s Day can be a beautiful day, but it can also be one of the hardest. 💐
Today we hold space for the mothers whose arms feel empty — the mothers who carry their child in their hearts rather than in their hands. A mother’s love does not end when a life ends. The bond between a mother and her child is unbreakable, and remembering them today is an act of love.
We are especially thinking of the mothers who have lost a child — at any age, for any reason. Your motherhood is real, your love is real, and your child will always matter.
We also remember the mothers who have experienced miscarriage, the mothers longing for a child, and those navigating complicated feelings on a day that can bring both love and grief.
And today we gently remember the mothers who are no longer here with us. Their love continues in the hearts and lives of those who carry them forward.
If today feels heavy, please know you are not alone. However you spend today — remembering, grieving, celebrating, or simply getting through — that is enough.
