As we come to the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week, we at Elliot’s Touch would like to take a moment to remember all the precious little babies who are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. 👼🏻🤍

We are incredibly proud to be launching our appeal alongside Musgrove Park Hospital to raise further funds for the Baby Bereavement Suite, helping to create a special, peaceful and supportive space for families facing the heartbreak of losing their precious baby.

Thanks to the incredible kindness and generosity of our supporters, we have already raised an amazing £53,000 towards this project. And the work that Laura and Steve Hogevold put in to make this happen💙

To every single person who has donated, fundraised, supported our events or helped spread the word, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Every penny brings us closer to making a difference to families at a time when they need compassion, comfort and care the most.

Tonight, as Baby Loss Awareness Week draws to a close, we invite you to light a candle for our precious little angels in heaven. 🕯️✨

Baby Loss Awareness Week: Help us transform the Rowan Suite 💚

This Baby Loss Awareness Week, we’re launching an important campaign in partnership with local charity Elliot's Touch to transform the Rowan Suite at Musgrove Park Hospital.

Losing a baby during birth or shortly afterwards is a devastating experience and having a dedicated space for families to process what has happened and to grieve privately, is really important.

We are therefore delighted to be working with local charity Elliot’s Touch to renovate and refurbish the Rowan Suite at Musgrove Park Hospital.

If you would like to support this project and help us to create a calmer, more comfortable and more private space for these families, then please consider donating whatever you can.

Any funds raised beyond the cost of renovating the Rowan Suite will be used for other projects that support families who lose a baby.

Mother’s Day can be a beautiful day, but it can also be one of the hardest. 💐

Today we hold space for the mothers whose arms feel empty — the mothers who carry their child in their hearts rather than in their hands. A mother’s love does not end when a life ends. The bond between a mother and her child is unbreakable, and remembering them today is an act of love.

We are especially thinking of the mothers who have lost a child — at any age, for any reason. Your motherhood is real, your love is real, and your child will always matter.

We also remember the mothers who have experienced miscarriage, the mothers longing for a child, and those navigating complicated feelings on a day that can bring both love and grief.

And today we gently remember the mothers who are no longer here with us. Their love continues in the hearts and lives of those who carry them forward.

If today feels heavy, please know you are not alone. However you spend today — remembering, grieving, celebrating, or simply getting through — that is enough.

With love to every mother, in every form. 🤍
