Some photos from our February meeting
Members have been so generous over the years donating to Mickeys Place. Julie the vicar sends her thanks for providing meals for 28 people.
We discussed how many times we wash our clothes and with with. The WI launched our Show the Love campaign in 2015 which looks at ways we can make a small difference towards climate change.
Our next meeting is on 4th March at St Andrews Church in Concord Washington @ 1.30pm
Come along ladies and have a tea or coffee with us.
This will be the last meeting of our 93 year old WI. Washington Concord WI So sad but inevitable. The WI (National Federation of Women's Institutes)

Our Christmas lunch at the George Washington Hotel. Food was brilliant and hot.
Elvis turned up at 3pm and got up close to Shirley who was taking a photo of him, funny
We all had a lovely afternoon together
Our next meeting is on 7th January 2025 at 1.30pm St Andrews Church in Concord. We will be having our traditional soup and stottie come along and check us out.
Visitors £5 or you can join for £12 until the end of March

Solar panels finished off a couple of weeks ago and even in these grey December days we are generating several KW of carbon free electricity an hour during the daylight :)
