The flowers in church this Sunday have been donated in memory of Prof John Campbell Thompson. Created by Deb, and consisting of mainly lilies, roses, stocks, peonies, and some seasonal greenery, this display not only looks beautiful, but it will have a wonderful aroma.

A very special weekend, as St Mary’s hosts the first Festival of Peacebuilding.
On behalf of the Flower Team, Brenda has created a poignant display on the font, including a (teddy) bear and ragged staff intertwined with an olive branch, and origami doves and white flowers denoting peace.

The bright and cheerful flowers by the lectern, crafted by Anne, have been donated by Dorette McAuslan to express her gratitude to members of the congregation for the cards, well wishes and prayers during her illness and difficulties.

This lovely vase display is one of a pair in the Beauchamp Chapel, arranged especially by Val.
