Will you help save Kineton WI?
After 109 years in the village Kineton WI is at risk of having to close. This would be a huge loss to the village. We need to recruit a President, Secretary and Treasurer by November to survive. We are in a strong financial position and have a programme of inspiring speakers and activities arranged through to March 2027. The new people would receive training and support over the first few months as they settle into their new roles. The WI is far more than jam and cakes nowadays with lots of free educational and personal development opportunities for members as well as campaigns around access to dental care, clean rivers, tacking isolation and loneliness, facilitating training on CPR and the use of defibrillators to save lives. It also provides an opportunity to meet new people and create new friendships. Don’t worry if you aren’t a member of the WI at the moment- we can sort that!
